CRESTVIEW – A local man learned the hard way it doesn’t pay to cheat on your significant other, especially when your significant other might wallop you in the eye.
Crestview Police say that on May 20, just after midnight, a Crestview man returned to his house and became involved in an argument with a woman at the residence. The cause of the argument was him being unfaithful, according to the arrest report.
The argument escalated when the woman struck him in the face, next to his eye, causing it to turn read and swell.
He also had scratch marks on his chest.
The woman couldn’t remember details of the incident.
She was charged with misdemeanor battery and faces a June 11 plea date.
