CRESTVIEW - A 29-year-old man was sentenced Thursday to 15 years on charges of trafficking in methamphetamine (over 200 grams) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the state attorney’s office.

Okaloosa County Circuit Judge Mike Flowers gave Steven John Casker the minimum mandatory sentence, which includes a $250,000 fine, according to a news release.

U.S. marshals with the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force went to Casker’s home in Crestview on Nov. 6 to arrest him for sexual battery-domestic violence on a victim over 12 years old and domestic violence battery.

The marshals found Casker cooking methamphetamine with a loaded Sig Sauer .380-caliber handgun on the table.
