Man runs from deputies, school locked down

FORT WALTON BEACH - A man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he ran from a home on Powell Drive in the Kenwood area when sheriff's deputies tried to serve him warrants for criminal mischief and burglary, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

After 21-year-old Anthony M. Frodelly ran from deputies about 12:50 p.m., a perimeter was set up and police dogs were brought in, the Sheriff's Office reported.  He was captured about 1:30 p.m.

Kenwood Elementary School was locked down for about 30 minutes, according to school officials.

Frodelly will face an additional charge of resisting arrest without violence.
