DEFUNIAK SPRINGS - Lowery overcorrected and the Nissan veered across the northbound lane, the FHP reported. She overcorrected again and sent the car back onto the west shoulder, where it hit an embankment and a tree.
Lowery, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by medical helicopter to Bay Medical Hospital, where she was treated and released.
The Nissan sustained about $3,500 in damage.
The FHP is investigating the wreck.
