No one was injured in a wreck on southbound State Road 285 near mile marker 15, but the roadway was shutdown for a short time, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Christopher L. McCroan, 39, of Ponce de Leon, was driving a truck southbound on SR 285 around 12:20 p.m. when the vehicle had an unknown mechanical problem and began to shake, the FHP reported.
The truck drifted to the right into a grass shoulder, so McCroan tried to steer it left onto the roadway again. The truck began to rotate back and forth. Its front right hit an embankment and it overturned onto its left side.
The road was closed as a wrecker up righted the truck, the FHP reported.
No other vehicle was hit. No charges will be filed against McCroan, according to the FHP.
