GULF BREEZE — A school bus carrying 29 students was involved in a wreck Tuesday morning on Gulf Breeze Parkway and Reserve Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol press release.

Elva L. Rogers, 77, of Navarre was stopped in a 1997 International School bus in the southbound, outside lane on Reserve Boulevard when she drove into the intersection at Gulf Breeze Parkway to make a U-turn, the release said.

A second vehicle, a 2011 Toyota 4Runner drove into the intersection from the southbound lane to make a left turn and was stopped in the median break, the release said.
While the bus was making its turn, the left side of the bus hit the right corner of the 4Runner driven by Gulf Breeze resident 29-year-old Ronald Amaro.

No one was injured during the wreck, the release said.

Rogers was cited for improper left turn because she made the turn from the outside lane of Reserve Boulevard, the release said.
