CRESTVIEW – A 30-year-old woman was arrested after she went on a foul-mouthed rampage in a convenience store parking lot, then climbed into a car with an open container of alcohol and caused her 22-month-old to cry.
On March 30 Crestview Police went to a Tom Thumb store on East James Lee Boulevard to investigate a disturbance. There, they learned the woman had been in the parking lot cursing loudly. She also broke a soft drink bottle and left without cleaning up the broken glass.
When officers found her they said she had an open container of alcohol between her legs as she sat in the passenger seat of the vehicle. She continued to curse loudly, and officers say her eyes were bloodshot and glassy, and her speech slurred.
They say her actions caused her 22-month-old child to start crying.
She was charged with disorderly intoxication.
