Man says he was pushed, punched, poked

CRESTVIEW – A man accused of punching another man in the mouth over a motorcycle told Crestview Police three different stories but did not avoid being arrested.

On March 16 a patron at Don’s Ice House on Ferdon Boulevard heard somebody start his motorcycle, so he went outside to confront the person. The man who started his motorcycle punched him in the mouth, chipping a tooth.

This was confirmed by a witness.

When a Crestview Police officer arrested the man, he said he hit the motorcycle owner but only after the owner pushed him five or six times. Then, he changed his story to say the owner punched him five or six times. Then, he said the owner poked him five or six times.

In the end, he was arrested for battery. His court date is April 9.
