FORT WALTON BEACH — Police officers are seeking a suspect wanted in an armed robbery of a convenience store late Saturday afternoon.
At about 4 p.m., the suspect entered the Six Brothers store on Robinwood Drive brandishing a handgun, according to the Fort Walton Beach police department.
He demanded that the clerk fill a shopping bag with money from the register. He then took the bag and fled north on foot.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office K9 until tracked the suspect. They found an undisclosed amount of stolen money in two different locations, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect remained at large Sunday, according to the police.
He is described as black and male and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt and grey pants during the robbery, police reported.
