FORT WALTON BEACH - A man was arrested less than 15 minutes after police say he robbed Papa John’s pizza on Mary Esther Cut-Off on Thursday night.

After demanding an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk at 7:34 p.m., 50-year-old James Murphee Hyde of Crestview ran off, Fort Walton Beach police reported.

He was caught near Tilden Road and Lovejoy Road about 7:45 p.m.

Police were not sure if Hyde brandished a weapon during the robbery.

Okaloosa County sheriff's deputies help capture the suspect.

No more information was available Thursday night.
